On March 8, 2019 the EPA released a training that will be required for all new labeled paraquat (late summer – fall of 2019). The training will take about 45 minutes and it is a good training. The reason for the training is in response to 17 human deaths since 2000. In fact, one horrible case was the death of a child from GA.
Most of you will say you are too busy, but think about the children or grandchildren we have running around our farms. Take the training and see if your children/grandchildren running around the farm will take it with you. You will have to take a test and get a 100; however, once you take the test it will tell you the answers you missed and you can just retake it immediately.
