Promptly rinse or sponge spot with cold water. If the color has been altered or to prevent an alternation in color, neutralize the spot by applying white vinegar or lemon juice to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always read the care label before trying any stain removal method. Do not use any products or procedures prohibited by the care label.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always pretest each cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area first to determine colorfastness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carpet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blended Fibers, Hemp, Jute, Natural Fibers, Synthetic Fibers, Wool<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponge stain immediately with cool water. If stain persists, continue to sponge with cool water, flushing out all traces of the stain. If the color has been altered, or to prevent fading or bleeding, neutralize the spot with a few drops of a mild acid such as lemon juice, or white vinegar. Sponge thoroughly with cool water. Blot to remove all excess moisture. Allow to dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Silk and wool fibers are weakened and sometimes destroyed by alkalies such as ammonia, so be especially prompt in treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Always pretest each cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area first to determine colorfastness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vinegar should be diluted with 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar if used on cotton or linen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hard Surface Floors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brick, Concrete, Stone\/masonry<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scrub with a strong solution of Washing (sal) Soda or detergent and water. Rinse well and dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Never use soap on these surfaces. It leaves a scum that is almost impossible to remove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resilient, Wood<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Rinse well with a sponge dipped in cool water. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth. Also, baking soda applied with a damp cloth should cut soap film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wood (Oiled, Stained, Varnished, Waxed)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wipe area with a sponge dipped in cool water then wrung out until damp. Make sure not to spread the stain. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Polish or wax immediately to prevent wood damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Furniture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aluminum, Bamboo, Cane, Fiberglass, Vinyl, Wicker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scrub with a strong solution of detergent and water. Rinse well and dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Never use soap on these surfaces. It leaves a scum that is almost impossible to remove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wood<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ammonia may dissolve wood finishes. Work quickly. Sponge thoroughly again with cool water to remove the traces of acid. Apply a commercial leather conditioner to return the softness and luster to the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walls And Ceilings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acoustical Tile, Dry Wall\/gypsum Board, Glass, Mirror, Plastic, Paper, Tile, Wood<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Rinse well with a sponge dipped in cool water. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth. Also, baking soda applied with a damp cloth should cut soap film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Treat spills on wallpaper immediately. Alkalies can dissolve adhesive behind paper. When wiping wallpaper, always use overlapping strokes to avoid streaking. Pat dry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leather Or Suede Paper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix dishwashing detergent in hot water and swish to make a great volume of suds. Dip a cloth in only the foam and gently wipe away any ammonia or soap residue. Rinse with a clean dry cloth. Dry away from heat.
