Rinse with water. Sponge with alcohol. Wash. Soak in a solution of 1 quart warm water and 1 tablespoon sodium perborate bleach for 30 minutes. Wash with detergent and sodium perborate bleach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Always read the care label before trying any stain removal method. Do not use any products or procedures prohibited by the care label.<\/li><li>Be careful any time a commercial product or combination of cleaning supplies are used.<\/li><li>Always pretest each cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area first to determine colorfastness.<\/li><li>Be sure to store and dispose of products\/cans\/containers as recommended. Keep out of reach of children.<\/li><li>When using caustic or commercial cleaning solutions, be certain to provide for adequate ventilation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carpet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blended Fibers, Natural Fibers (Cotton, Linen), Synthetic Fibers, Wool<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Scrape to remove the excess spill. Sponge the stain with clear water. Blot. Sponge with a solution of 1\/2 teaspoon or a neutral detergent, 1 cut of lukewarm water and 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Blot. Rinse or sponge with clear water. Blot again. Then place a 1\/2 inch layer of dry absorbent material (cloths or paper towels) over the area and weight it down with a heavy object. Leave it for several hours. Brush area with your hand to restore pile. Allow to air dry thoroughly.<\/li><li>If stain remains, use laundry prewash. Rinse with clear water. Blot with absorbent pads. The Wet Spotter with vinegar can be applied to the stain using a medicine dropper or small syringe. Cover the area with an absorbent pad dampened with Wet Spotter. Let it stand as long as any stain is&#8217; being removed. Dab at the stain ocasionally and change the pad as it picks up the stain. Sponge with clear water. Blot thoroughly and allow to dry.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: If cleaning acetate, fiberglass, rayon, silk, triacete or wool fabrics, apply a commercial fabric spot cleaner&#8217;, following the directions on the container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look for products containing petroleum distillates or hydrocarbon such as trichloroethane, xylene methylenechloride, methane, benzene and\/or naphtha. These chemicals may be found in such spot removers and cleaners as Guardsman&#8217;s Afta, Oap Cleaner and Thinner, GOOF OFF, M-1 Remover, Goo Gone, K2r, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Be careful any time a commercial product or combination of cleaning supplies are used.<\/li><li>Be sure to store and dispose of productslcans\/containers as recommended.
