Spray the stained area with a pre-wash product. Launder.<\/li><li>Sponge with a non-oily nail polish remover that contains acetone. Repeat until no more stain is removed. Sponge with a commercial cleaner to remove final traces. Flush with water. Spray the stained area with a pre-wash product. Launder.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Always read the care label before trying any stain removal method. Do not use any products or procedures prohibited by the care label.<\/li><li>Be careful any time a commercial product or combination of cleaning supplies are used.<\/li><li>Always pretest each cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area first to determine colorfastness.<\/li><li>Be sure to store and dispose of products\/cans\/containers as recommended. Keep out of reach of children.<\/li><li>When using caustic or commercial cleaning solutions, be certain to provide for adequate ventilation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exterior Surfaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Porches, Decks, Patios &#8211; Asphalt, Brick, Concrete, Cement, Masonry, Stone, Wood<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On most hard surface floors, silly putty can be removed by gently scraping, using a dull-edged knife, spatula, plastic credit card, etc. (Silly putty, even when dried, remains fairly pliable and can often times be pulled from the surface.)<\/li><li>Amyl acetate (banana oil) and acetone will soften any remaining residues of silly putty. However, amyl acetate is milder than acetone so might be a better choice on wood surfaces. Proceed with caution and use very sparingly in order not to damage the surface.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CAUTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Always pretest each cleaning agent on an inconspicuous area first to determine colorfastness.<\/li><li>When using caustic, toxic, aromatic or flammable cleaning solutions, be certain to provide for adequate ventilation. Do not have an open flame near flammable cleaning solutions.
