Remove Stains From Urine (Human, Animal)

Apparel/Fabrics

Rinse with cool water. Soak in cool water with a heavy-duty liquid detergent. Launder in hot water. If fabric color has been changed, sponge stain with ammonia. Rinse. If stain remains, sponge with white vinegar. Launder.

  • When using caustic or commercial cleaning solutions, be certain to provide for adequate ventilation.

Porches, Decks, Patios

Asphalt, Brick, Concrete, Cement, Masonry, Stone

  1. Wipe the stain with a sponge dipped in warm, sudsy water. Rinse well. Wipe dry.
  2. If stain remains, soak an absorbent pad in rubbing alcohol. Wring as dry as possible. Apply pad to the stain and let it remain on the area for 5 minutes. Soak another absorbent pad in household ammonia. Wring dry. Apply ammonia pad to stain. Wait 5 minutes. Alternate alcohol and ammonia pads until stain has been removed. Wipe area with cloth dampened in water. Dry with a soft cloth.

Wood

Gently wipe the stain with a cloth or sponge dipped in warm sudsy water. Rinse with a clean cloth moistened with clear water and wipe dry.

Siding/walls

Aluminum, Asbestos, Masonite, Vinyl, Wood

Wipe the excess with a cloth or sponge that has been dipped in lukewarm sudsy water. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth. Wipe dry using a soft, clean cloth.
