Tattnall County 4-H is busy planning an exciting summer of activities for our youth.

As many have heard, we are excited that a new Tattnall County Extension Office is currently under construction. It is hopeful that we may be moving in to our new building before school starts in Fall 2019. This will open up a lot of new programming space and opportunities for us. This also, however, means that summer will be a period of transition for our 4-H program. With that in mind, we are limiting our summer programming offerings some from past years. Below are the programs we will be offering this summer.

Splash in the Boro Day (Open to 4th-8th graders; Teen Leaders 9th-12th grade)

A Day At The Park:Fun with Forestry and Wildlife (Open to 4th-8th graders; Teen Leaders 9th-12th grade)

Kids in the Kitchen (Open to 4th-8th graders; Teen Leaders 9th-12th grade)

Kiwanis Fair Mini-Booth Workshops (Open to 4th-12th graders)

Summer Dance Party (Open to 4th-8th graders; Teen Leaders 9th-12th grade)

Silly Science Day (Open to 4th-8th graders; Teen Leaders 9th-12th grade)

More information will be added to this post as details are finalized, so check back often! All activities will be $30 or less per student. Some activities will be FREE but students will be asked to bring a packed lunch and snack for the day. Each of these will begin at approximately 8 a.m. and end mid-afternoon. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Tattnall County Extension Office in Reidsville, GA.

Sign-ups for all activities will be at the Tattnall County Extension Office in Reidsville, GA beginning April 15th. Payments will be due for all activities at time of sign-up. Detailed sign-up sheets will be posted here no later than April 10th.
