Here are some helpful tips to freshen up your home and make the process less overwhelming. Focus on one task at a time. Instead of trying to do everything at once, complete one area and then move on the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Open your windows-<\/strong> this is a great time to air out your house and improve air quality. Especially with mild temperatures during this time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean light fixtures and celling fans- <\/strong>can help reduce allergens in your home such as dust mites, pet dander and pollen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean windows, blinds and wash curtains- <\/strong>use microfiber cloths to help trap dust on windows and blinds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Replace Air Filters- <\/strong>helps lower energy bills and allergy management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wash comforter and pillows- <\/strong>make sure to flip and rotate the mattress as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean out and organize closets- <\/strong>this is a great time to sort items to donate, recycle, sell and keep. If you haven\u2019t worn it in the last six months, it\u2019s time to let it go.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wipe down walls and base boards- <\/strong>with a microfiber mop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deep clean the kitchen- <\/strong>clean all appliances, clean and sanitize trash cans, and wipe down cabinets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deep clean the bathroom- <\/strong>wash shower curtain liners, clean the vent fan, and clean the faucet fixtures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deep clean carpets and rugs- <\/strong>vacuum the front and back of rugs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Safety Check- <\/strong>replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Also, check fire extinguishers and replenish first aid kit for emergencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finally tackle and organize those notorious junk drawers!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A little bit at a time can make a big difference.
