UGA Master Cattleman Program

The winter 2015 Master Cattlemen’s Program will be held in Southwest Georgia hosted by Ben Hill County. Dates are January 20 thru March 10 (Tuesday evening of each week) 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

This is a great opportunity for cattleman to attend.  It is also a good opportunity for people who may be considering getting into the cattle business in the future.  It will be an 8 week course that will bring producers up to date on a variety of topics concerning the beef industry.  There will be 13 different speakers including UGA specialist and UGA Agents covering the topics.  People who attend at least 6 of the 8 meetings will receive a certificate of completion and a UGA Master Cattleman’s cap.  There is a $60 pre-registration fee that will be due by January 6, 2015.  This includes all 8 sessions, literature, and a meal following the final session.  The following is the schedule for the program.
