When used incorrectly, opioids can become addictive. Opioids come in different shapes and forms, sometimes prescribed by a doctor. For these reasons, most people do not realize the risk of misusing opioids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing what to look for and who to call on for help can save a life &#8212; yours or the life of someone close to you.
