He worked with Members of Congress serving on the House and Senate Agriculture Committees, the Senate Appropriations, Energy and Natural Resource, and Budget Committees, and the House Small Business Committee. Bob has served as national and state finance chair for a number of Members of the U.S. House and Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Bob has received presidential appointments to Federal Advisory Committees at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Transportation. As a result of over thirty years of work, Bob is considered a leading authority on federal agricultural legislation. He has received numerous awards for his service to the industry. He serves as a consultant to the University of Georgia\u2019s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) and was part of the team who originated the framework of the CAES Congressional Agriculture Fellowship program. Bob has also spent over twenty years as a legislative and regulatory advocate of the independent automotive repair industry.\u00a0 His knowledge in this field has resulted in being recognized on numerous occasions by the automotive aftermarket. His legislative work with authorization and appropriations committees also has enabled Bob to effectively advise educational institutions, urban and rural municipalities, and public and private partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Bob is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and the National Law Center at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is married to the former Laura Fallin of Moultrie, Georgia, and they have three children.
