Over the last couple of years there have been many peanut farmers who have taken significant financial loss from Seg. 2 peanuts. The Georgia Peanut Commission and farmers from around the state have rallied over the last several months to see changes made to the official rule. On February 1, 2018 the Segregation 2 designation will change from 2.49 percent to 3.49 percent.
