The types of seeds in the packages are unknown at this time and may be invasive plant species. The\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aphis.usda.gov\/aphis\/newsroom\/stakeholder-info\/sa_by_date\/sa-2020\/sa-07\/seeds-china\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>United States Department of Agriculture<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is investigating the origin and identity of these seeds.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do I do if I receive seeds?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>&nbsp;If you still have the seed packets and shipping\/packaging materials,&nbsp;<strong>please do the following<\/strong>:<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;<strong>DO NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;open the seed packets;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2022 DO NOT&nbsp;<\/strong>plant any of the seeds;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2022 DO NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;compost the seeds;&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2022 DO NOT&nbsp;<\/strong>throw the seeds in the trash, flush them down the drain;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2022 DO NOT&nbsp;<\/strong>expose them to the environment in any way;&nbsp;<strong>AND&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&nbsp;\u2022 DO&nbsp;<\/strong>put all seeds and packaging materials into a Ziploc bag.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do I do if I no longer have the packaging or already planted the seeds? <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>If you no longer have the packaging materials or&nbsp;<\/em><em>have already planted seeds,&nbsp;<strong>please do the following<\/strong>:<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>\u00a0\u2022\u00a0<strong>DISPOSE\u00a0<\/strong>seeds using the recommended USDA disposal methods;<\/em>  USDA recommendations for disposal.  <\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The packages were sent by mail and may have Chinese writing on them.
