The most common question I have been getting recently is “Will the abnormally cold conditions we have been having recently hurt my wheat?”
The answer depends on a number of factors (growth stage, water stress, etc), but for the wheat in our area we have not been cold enough to significantly hurt the wheat so far this year. Small, tillering wheat can take much more cold temperatures than later on in the year. Also lush, growthy wheat is more likely to see injury.
