Monroe County is a thriving Ag Community. The local producers have to make decisions based on a wide variety of factors. For livestock and hay producers one key factor is rainfall. Monroe County Extension partners with the Monroe County recycle centers to track rainfall data. When I compared January – July 2025 to January – July 2026 I found on average a 9.6 inch deficit.
