Participants selected a topic, wrote a speech, and presented their final projects through recorded videos. This is what the participants shared about their experience (in the midst of a pandemic)\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>\u201cIt made me feel like a news anchor person.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cIt was neat. I could make sure my speech was perfect.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cIt was fun to do, and easier because I didn&#8217;t have to take my project to another location.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cYou can try as many times as you like to get it right.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cI wasn&#8217;t as nervous because I was in my own room\u2026I like that some people may be more comfortable at home instead of a big crowd of strangers.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cI liked that everybody knew you won if you did.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cI didn\u2019t have to wait my turn.\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><em>\u201cI liked how I got to speak in front of the camera and show my presentation.\u201d<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Georgia 4-H is extremely pleased to present our second Virtual Cloverleaf Project Achievement for this December 2, 2020!\u00a0 With only 2 weeks till this upcoming competition, we recognize that is not enough time to prepare youth for the installations. However, since the pandemic is likely to affect statewide youth programming into the Winter I encourage partners to reach out to your local extension offices to talk about how your 4th &#8211; 6th-grade students can participate. Contact Laura Goss\/local office for more resources. In 2021, Georgia 4-H will be creating a package to host your own camp\/after school club related to Project Achievement. Stay tuned for more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, we hope the included resources are engaging for your youth. We hope to see your youth at the next 2021 Project Achievement! Put the youth&#8217;s knowledge to the test by registering them from the statewide competition.
