The Georgia 4-H Military Partnership along with states and countries from across the globe are getting teens together for important conversations!

We can’t wait to be part of the conversation! We are bringing together military-connected youth in grades 8th – 12th and the adults who work with military-teens for conversations about experiences over these last two years.

The 4-H Military Partnership coordinators have lots of virtual conversations scheduled in March on different days and times so all our military-connected teens can participate. Teens and adults choose the time that fits them.

Registration is available at www.4-Hmilitarypartnership.org

Please help us promote this event via social media, newsletters, on-installations, and the like. Teens don’t need to feel alone, let’s help them connect and bring youth together through this important virtual engagement.

Child and Youth Program Staff- Idea Moment

  1. Sign-up to be a part of the conversation to learn from the teens. Gain understanding from the teens you are leading by volunteering to facilitate the virtual engagement.
  2. Select a time that aligns with when youth are at your center. Pop some popcorn and put the virtual engagement on a “big screen” to create a hybrid viewing experience. This is a great way to connect your youth audience with other military-dependent teens and provide an enriching fun experience.
  3. Select youth 15 to 18 to participate as teen facilitators for these engagements. What a great opportunity to recognize and build on teens leadership skills.

Homeschool Military FamiliesIdea Moment

  1. Schedule this learning opportunity into your school day as an enriching experience.

4-H Military volunteers- Idea Moment

  1. Volunteering at camp in the summer is a vital way we support youth; however, many of you support teens throughout the year. Here is a way you can support military teens this Spring and provide insight on how teens are feeling as we gear up for camps this summer.
