Project WET, WILD, and Learning Tree are award-winning, research-based curricula used around the world. Each project has its own certification for early childhood (pre-K – 2nd grade) audiences with guidebooks full of activities, resources, etc. These curricula could be incorporated into in-school enrichment efforts, Cloverbud club programming, STEM Nights, community partnerships, etc.

If you didn’t get a chance to register for these trainings last fall, now is your chance!

Georgia 4-H is offering two opportunities to get certified in these resources.  Extension/4-H professionals, as well as certified volunteers, are welcome to attend.

  • August 26, 2021 at the UGA Conference Center in Tifton
  • August 30, 2021 at the Jackson County Agricultural Facility in Jefferson

Both trainings are from 8:30am-5:00pm.

The registration fee is $60 and includes all guidebooks, materials, and supplies.  Optional lunch at each location is available for an additional fee.  All costs associated with this training are the responsibility of the installation/fort/garrison program funds. Please discuss with your leadership if you have any questions regarding payment.

If you (or a volunteer) are interested in attending, you should …

  • E-mail Laura Goss at laurwalt@uga.edu, to inform training coordinators. Please communicate who will attend and include their emails. Also, communicate if the individuals will need lunch (additional fee). We will follow up with specific locations regarding lunch options.
  • Once approved, Laura will enter individuals into the appropriate training in 4-H Event Registration.
  • Laura will create an invoice for staff to complete. The payment submission form and check will be mailed to the State 4-H Office.

Please register by August 13, 2021.  Final training information will be shared on/before August 17, 2021.
