Cornell University’s Civic Ecology Lab is offering a new, online class – Plastics: Impacts and Action Online Course from May 17 – June 20, 2021.  According to their promotional materials, “this course explores our social and environmental relationships with plastics and uses plastics to help understand the complex dynamic systems shaping our planet and our lives. During the course, we will use critical and systems thinking while learning about everything from the plastic lifecycle to plastic’s social and environmental impacts, to NGO and government plastics policies.  The course is largely asynchronous – meaning you can access the short lectures, readings, and other materials when it is convenient for you.”

The cost of the course is $60.  Georgia 4-H Science Specialist, Kasey Bozeman, has participated in multiple courses offered by the Civic Ecology Lab and believes they were well-worth the fees and time investment.  Register for the course here.  Consider taking advantage of this high-quality professional development opportunity at a reasonable price; Kasey Bozeman hopes to “see” you there!
