As you all might know I love Military REACH and the quick TRIP reports they release monthly. As youth professionals, we should stay updated on current research and a great way to do that as it relates to military families is through Military REACH.
I found the Pilot Study of a Pre-Deployment parent Coaching Program for Military Families with Young Children interesting. This program highlights virtual coaching for parents and a link to tips on talking to kids about an approaching deployment. I see this as informative for Base/garrison Family Readiness Units to consider as an addition to the Heart Link (air Force pre-deployment program).
