Afternoon 4-H Military Partners, County 4-H Staff, 4-H Military Volunteers

The recent pause in programming created an opportunity for idea sharing and time to address the need for training. 4-H Military staff from across the nation worked to address these need and is pleased to announce the:

4-H Military Partners Conference 2020: Staying Connected, Advancing Together, a virtual gathering,

Wednesday and Thursday, May 20-21, 2020.

Each day from 12:00 – 5:00 PM (Eastern), three unique sessions will be hosted virtually. The content for this virtual event is appropriate for any Extension educator working with military-connected youth, for volunteers engaged in programming with military youth, and for direct care, managers, and training coordinators from military installations.

Virtual sessions will be recorded and made available for review online after the conference. However, recommend joining the live sessions if possible for increased engagement. Additionally, the conference website, www.4hmilitarypartners.org, will feature additional recorded sessions released in conjunction with the live sessions.

While there is no registration fee, registration is required: https://ncsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5BFmm4AghYICDgp

If you have any questions regarding this event, please reach out to Local 4-H Staff and/or Laura Goss (laurwalt@uga.edu).

We hope you can join us for these informative and educational opportunities. We also hope you will share this information and the link with frontline staff, program coordinators, recreation leaders, local volunteers, and all those who work with military teens.

Thank you for all you do to support military-connected youth! We truly hope this conference not only provides “hands-on” virtual learning, but also rejuvenates you and your staff.
