The River of Words art and poetry contest is for youth (K-12).  Georgia will host this state-wide contest where students are able to compete individually and submit their entries, without having to participate as a special class or workshop.  The previously funded River of Words Environmental Poetry & Art Project was nationally supported.  The deadline for entries is February 1, 2017.

Fort Stewart 4-H will conduct an upcoming watershed lesson in the next few weeks and will align art and poetry during the afternoon in conjunction with the River of Words contest.
