An Overview:

Hall County Master Gardeners on behalf of Georgia Master Gardeners Association invite all gardeners, experienced or beginners, to join us for our annual conference in Gainesville, Georgia at First Baptist Church in the heart of downtown Gainesville.

The day will be divided into 4 sessions with three featured speakers and one breakout session where participants will choose from among 3 concurrent sessions. Expert presenters will provide inspiration, ideas and information related to our theme Beauty, Wildlife & Edibles. Registration includes options to participate in nature and garden tours, hear nationally recognized speakers, food, fellowship and garden-themed shopping. Our event is open to GMGA members and non-members!

Friday, October 13th, features an array of tours highlighting some of Gainesville’s finest horticulture features including a community garden, youth garden, nature preserve, bird walk and behind the scenes botanical garden tour. Friday evening we invite you to a reception at Atlanta Botanical Garden Gainesville for light bites and liquid refreshments.  

Saturday, October 14th, we will gather in the Banquet Hall at the First Baptist Church for an inspiring day of learning featuring entertaining and informative speakers that will provide opportunities to increase our knowledge about plants, landscape design, wildlife and new ideas in the world of horticulture. Saturday will also have informative booths, and vendors selling plants, art, tools and more plus Door Prizes!
