It may officially be Fall, but we are still feeling that summer heat! Although, the lower morning temperatures have me looking forward to cool, crisp Autumn weather. As we wait for a break from the hot sun and hope for some rain, let’s share fall gardening tips. What are your plans for your home and project gardens? Will you be planting fall veggies or tidying up beds for next year? Comment on this blog post or email sarahdh@uga.edu with your fall gardening tips and plans. Your advice may be shared on our Facebook page!

In addition to outdoor activities in the garden, what is going on in the Extension office in your county? Perhaps lots of soil sample processing? Now is a great time for homeowners to submit soil samples for analysis so there is plenty of time to review the results and plan for changes to be made in their yards or gardens next year. Or, are you out in the community, staffing Master Gardener booths at local festivals and fairs? Tell us what you are up to!
