Madison County Out of School Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greeting Letters for Older Americans<\/strong>
While schools are closed, have fun and get busy drawing pictures and writing well wishes to elderly people. If arts and crafts are your thing, and you realize how stressed out everybody is, this is a fun way to combine activities to make others and yourself feel better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Older Americans are concerned especially about this virus themselves. The CDC says older adults are at higher risk and health officials have recommended the elderly stay home as the crisis continues. People in nursing and retirement homes have restricted visits to the facility
with few exceptions. Letters from the children will bring them joy and will hopefully comfort them during this difficult time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consider writing a letter! Take a picture of the letter and send it to sgoldman@uga.edu<\/a>. The Madison County 4-H will give you Community Service Points! Remember points are due soon! If you are willing, when you sign your name, just sign your first name and afterwards write Madison County 4-H\u2019er. Thank you for taking time to show these special people how much we care for them!

Summer Classes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
