UGA Extension is introducing a new program that provides training for beginning farmers. This program will be in three steps with the first being small farm business planning. Step two is vegetable production followed by hands-on production. Step one will be a four day training held in the mornings on August 16th, 18th, 23rd and 25th at the Dougherty County Extension Office. See the attached flyer for more details.
