UGA Extension Clinch County will be hosting a forestry meeting for foresters and landowners. The meeting will be held May 23, 2023 from 11:30am to 2:00pm at the Historic Train Depot in Homerville, Georgia (40 East Plant Ave).

Topics will include silvicultural solutions for common forest insect pests, forestry herbicide modes of action, forestry herbicide adjuvants, and pine plantation mid-rotation herbicide release. All sections will be taught by Dr. Clabo, Assistant Professor of Silviculture Outreach at the UGA Warnell School of Forestry & Natural Resources.

Lunch will be provided and the meeting costs $10/person. Please call 912-487-2169 to register by May 16, 2023 so we can get an accurate headcount for lunch. You may pay by May 22nd at the Clinch County Extension Office (313 W. Dame Ave., Suite A, Homerville, GA) or bring cash/check to the meeting.
