This cold-hardy perennial is mainly found in swampy areas or growing along creek banks. Blooming in midsummer, it is fast-growing and thrives best in full sun. Use this plant in the lowest area of the garden, along streams or ponds. It can be planted in a container and is a perfect bloom for pollinators and hummingbirds.
