Jasper & Jones County Forest Landowners Meeting

I cannot stress the importance of timber and land management to your properties. Promoting healthy forest (i.e. prescribed burning and thinning your timber) is highly recommended to keep disease and pest at low levels while also promoting diversity and increasing plant community levels. These type of land management strategies will promote wildlife diversity and, while also increasing property value when it comes to selling and leasing your hunting rights to the public. If you are interested in learning more about timber management, I invite you to come learn more about the potential Jasper and Jones County Forest Landowners Association Meeting in August. The meeting will also discuss about available financial assistance to landowners in Jasper and Jones County.
