Healthier Together Dooly

Dooly County, located in the Southern Central region of Georgia, is home to approximately 11,200 residents. Since 2018, Healthier Together has worked to enhance obesity prevention efforts within the county through nutrition and physical activity education and active community engagement. Since then, community gardens, food pantries, and numerous parks and recreational centers have been implemented into the county to promote education and an active community.

Our efforts within the county will continue to develop to ensure that Dooly County residents are better-educated about nutrition and physical activity so they can live Healthier Together!
