GIKI will share its experiences working with school gardens when it participates in the SciREN Networking Event on February 23, 2019, at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. SciREN Georgia coordinates a platform for researchers to provide educators with K-12 classroom ready lesson plans, which are based on their current work and adhere to state and national educational standards. Additionally, SciREN gives researchers and educators opportunities to arrange classroom visits and to collaborate on curriculum development. For more information or to attend the event, go to https://sciren.org/networking-events/sciren-georgia/. And please take a little time to read about SciREN’s mission which we are fortunate to benefit from here in Georgia!
