{"id":1031,"date":"2013-06-03T01:24:43","date_gmt":"2013-06-03T05:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ugagreenway.wordpress.com\/?p=1031"},"modified":"2023-01-03T15:29:13","modified_gmt":"2023-01-03T20:29:13","slug":"a-new-kind-of-sustainability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/greenway\/2013\/06\/03\/a-new-kind-of-sustainability\/","title":{"rendered":"A new kind of sustainability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week I participated in an informative blogging workshop taught by <a title=\"Tara Dunn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/profile\/view?id=90110602&amp;locale=en_US&amp;trk=tyah\">Tara Dunn<\/a> for the University of Georgia College of Family and Consumer Sciences <a title=\"Cooperative Extension\" href=\"https:\/\/www.csrees.usda.gov\/Extension\/\">Cooperative Extension<\/a>.\u00a0 She did a fantastic job of helping all of the participants develop blogs and better understand and use online communication. Blogs are a great way to share research and information that helps improve our lives and &#8220;sustain&#8221; the outreach mission of Cooperative Extension. I am excited to share these new blogs with you.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1067\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1067\" style=\"width: 100px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bilingualopinions.wordpress.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1067    \" alt=\"Edda &amp; Ines\" src=\"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/greenway\/files\/2013\/06\/edda-ines.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"131\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1067\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Edda &amp; Ines<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bilingualopinions.wordpress.com\/\">Bilingual Opinions<\/a> is an expression of two bilingual Family and Consumer Sciences County Extension Agents from the University of Georgia. Ines &amp; Edda provide programming both in English and Spanish, even though they sometimes feel they are speaking \u201cdifferent languages.\u201d Ines is from Colombia and Edda from Puerto Rico.
