Delegations from\nacross the country attend this six-day program at the National 4-H Youth\nConference Center, located just outside Washington, D.C.&nbsp; The program aims\nto enrich young people\u2019s lives by broadening their appreciation and respect for\nthemselves and others in the world. Participants attend workshops, committees,\nfield trips, and social events, giving them hands-on opportunities to learn and\ngrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligible\nParticipants<\/strong> &#8211; CWF is open to all\nGeorgia 4-H members who are rising 9<sup>th<\/sup> through 12<sup>th<\/sup> graders\nat the time of the trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Registration\nDeadline<\/strong> \u2013 March 13, 2020 &#8211;\nRegistration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Georgia has limited\nopenings reserved for the CWF program. The attached fillable registration form\nis due in my email by the end of day on March 13.&nbsp; To ensure your\nparticipation in CWF, register ASAP! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cost<\/strong> &#8211; <strong><em>The cost will be approximately $1,500* per person.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 The standard registration package for CWF, alone, is $925 per person, and that doesn\u2019t include transportation, outing costs, and other expenses. Transportation costs will be determined by the number of participants and will be announced after the final delegation size is determined.\u00a0 *NOTE:\u00a0 The above costs do not cover meals on the way to Washington D.C. and back. There is also one day when participants must pay for their own lunch. Please plan for an additional $120 to cover these meals. Gordon County 4-H may be able to offset the cost of this trip. Please talk with Ms. Allie if you are interested in attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Payment<\/strong> &#8211; Make checks payable to the \u201cGeorgia 4-H Foundation.\u201d The total balance is due by May 8, 2020, and can be\nmade in installments with the final payment due on May 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While you could just\nwait to submit one large payment to cover the total balance (due May 8<sup>th<\/sup>),\nmany people find it more manageable to spread payments out over a set\nschedule.&nbsp; Below is our recommended payment schedule (notice the payment\ndates correspond to the second Friday of each month):&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">March\n13&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; $500<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">April\n10&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; $500<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May\n8&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<strong>remaining balance due<\/strong> (we will know this amount after travel costs have\nbeen determined)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Again, checks are payable to \u201cGeorgia 4-H Foundation.\u201d\u00a0 Please bring to the Gordon County Extension Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Transportation<\/strong> &#8211; 4-H will provide transportation to and from\nWashington, D.C., and during the week of CWF.
