No, not just Christmas, it\u2019s Project Achievement time!! &#x1f60a;<\/p>\n<p>As always, please let me know if you have any questions or if you need help with any part of this process. I\u2019m excited for Project Achievement, it\u2019s\u00a0 the most wonderful time of the (4-H) year!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Project Achievement?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students choose a project area of interest, research the topic, and write and present a presentation. 4-H\u2019ers develop leadership, creativity, public speaking, record keeping, and other skills. As students become older, a record keeping component that promotes independent thinking, research and implementation is added. Cloverleaf and Junior 4-H\u2019ers (4th \u2013 8th graders), begin competition in their school or county and advance to the district level. In addition to a presentation, you must submit a portfolio (see below). I will not accept portfolios after this date. We will use Google Drive to create portfolios this year. I have created a template\/guide for you to use and there is a link to a great video tutorial in it from the\u00a0 district office. Please contact me at allie723@uga.edu\u00a0 to get the template.\u00a0I will send each person a direct link. You can work on it at home and I can see how it\u2019s going, but you are also welcome to come into the office and work.
