It encourages the development of outstanding citizens through participation in a broad range of 4-H activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligibility: 4-H\u2019ers are eligible for the Georgia 4-H Key Award beginning in 9th grade. 4-H\u2019ers who achieve Level 4 are ineligible to receive the Georgia 4-H Key Award again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guidelines: This application must be typed. The application is divided into eight sections. Points are limited in each section based on the space provided; no additional pages\/spaces may be added. Although eligibility begins in the 9th grade, points are cumulative starting in the 7th grade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prizes and Awards: The Key Award has four levels based on the total cumulative points of your application. 4-H\u2019ers are encouraged to work their way through the levels until reaching Level 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Level 1 500 \u2013 749 Key Award Certificate and Key Award Pin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 2 750 \u2013 999 Bronze Medallion and Key Award Pin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 3 1,000 \u2013 1,249 Silver Medallion and Key Award Pin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 4 1250+ Gold Medallion, Key Award Pin, and Master 4-H Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submitting Awards: The Georgia 4-H Key Award Application is due annually by May 15<sup>th<\/sup>. The application is attached to this post.
