You can learn more with these video overviews: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6th Graders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/f0784e29a1054721943cac98e3c97609\">https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/f0784e29a1054721943cac98e3c97609<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As 6<sup>th<\/sup> graders, students get to compete at the Area Cloverleaf Project Achievement at Georgia Highlands College in Rome on Saturday, January 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7th-12th Graders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/25bea9b8805f4adeaaeaf56e23de5910\">https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/25bea9b8805f4adeaaeaf56e23de5910<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As 7<sup>th<\/sup>-12<sup>th<\/sup> graders, the students get to compete at the District Project Achievement at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton on Friday-Sunday, March 11-13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For 7th-12th graders, the district competition requires an additional portfolio component (like a r\u00e9sum\u00e9) which must be submitted by <strong>Monday, January 10<\/strong>. I have created a portfolio template in Google Classroom and will walk each student that wishes to compete through the process of completing the portfolio; the deadline is coming fast though, so email me ASAP to receive the template!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Registration and Other Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will provide transportation to and from the competition. We also help each student with creating their presentation, so you are not on your own in completing the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your child is interested in participating in the 4-H Project Achievement competition, please call the 4-H office at 706-629-8685 or text me at 706-403-1004 or email me at <a href=\"mailto:allie.griner@uga.edu\">allie.griner@uga.edu<\/a> by <strong>Tuesday, January 4<\/strong> and I will send you more information about the next steps to prepare. I will also be at the office January 4-7 and January 10 to assist anyone that needs help in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reminder, the local Gordon County 4-H Scholarship for graduating seniors requires that youth have participated in 4 years of Project Achievement, at least two of which must be during their high school years.
