LifeSmarts, the ultimate consumer challenge, is an educational opportunity for students in 6th-12th grade. This competition prepares students to enter the real world as smart adult consumers. Participants focus on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, the environment, health and safety, personal finance, and technology &amp; workforce preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"499\" height=\"143\" src=\"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/gordongrown\/files\/2021\/06\/lifesmarts.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/gordongrown\/files\/2021\/06\/lifesmarts.png 499w, https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/gordongrown\/files\/2021\/06\/lifesmarts-300x86.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The challenge is open to Junior Varsity (grades 6-8) and Varsity (grades 9-12) LifeSmarts teams. Teams are made up of four to five students.
