The Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference (SRTLC) is a first-of-its-kind, multi-state 4-H conference created to bring together 4-H teens and adults to empower & inspire them to make a positive change across the southern region through youth-adult partnerships. Georgia 4-H participates as one of several host states for SRTLC each year. SRTLC is an outstanding opportunity to help youth in grades 9-12 develop leadership skills, citizenship skills, and help them find opportunities to put those skills to use in their community. Plus, it is one of the best ways to meet 4-H’ers from other states and learn about their 4-H programs!
This year, SRTLC is going virtual, with FREE registration! The Southern Region 4-H Teen Leadership Conference will be taking place online September 24-26, over the course of a few evening hours on Thursday & Friday (the 24th and 25th) and during much of the day on Saturday (the 26th). Registration is FREE, and some sessions may be limited to a first-come, first-served basis. You will have a chance to showcase your projects if you choose, and you can also apply to lead a workshop or roundtable session.
If you are interested in attending, please send an email to uge1129@uga.edu. You must send this email by no later than September 4 to begin the registration process.
