AgGeorgia Farm Credit Weekend Spectacular is scheduled for December 20 through 22, 2019. The general public is welcome to come watch the show. To enter the show, entry form and rules are listed below.

Show and Photo Contest Entry Form

Rules of Show:

  • Exhibitors in this show must be a member of 4-H or FFA at time of entry.
  • All livestock being exhibited must have an official certificate of veterinary inspection (health certificate). This certificate of veterinary inspection must be issued within 30 days of the exhibition.  See the current year Georgia 4-H and FFA State Livestock Shows Rules and Regulations for specific information for 4-H and FFA health certificates.  No animals will be allowed entry to the show without the proper health records and test requirements.
  • Exhibitors must be actively participating in a livestock project and must be the owner of their animals.
  • An exhibitor may enter an unlimited number of animals to show, but may not have more than two entries in any one class in competition for prize money.
  • Each exhibitor must furnish their own animals’ feed, feed pan, water pail and show supplies. The livestock pavilion will furnish the bedding, electricity and water.
  • It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to feed, water, clean-up after and provide general care of their animals while on property.
  • Veterinarian service for animals while on property is at the owner’s expense.
  • Neither the AgGeorgia Farm Credit, Northwest Georgia Research & Education Livestock Pavilion, University of Georgia, Gordon County Extension/4-H, Gordon County, Georgia, nor any of its employees are responsible for loss or damage to any animal and/or personal property of exhibitor.
  • We shall honor the Statement of Relation (Memorandum of Understanding) between Vocational Education and the Cooperative Extension which is considered the official agreement. This agreement guides 4-H and FFA participation in events.  The intent of the agreement is to support youth participating in both organizations with different project areas and to disallow a young person competing in both organizations with the same project area in the same year.
  • Limited power available onsite.
    • The show committee reserves the right to disqualify any animal on the basis of health concerns.
    • Barrows and gilts will be shown separately. Steers, hogs, commercial breeding ewes, and commercial breeding does will be shown by weight; and registered and commercial heifers, registered ewes & registered does will be show by age.ntry form must be postmarked no later than Friday, December 13, 2019. Any and all entry forms postmarked after this date must pay an additional late fee of $20.00 per animal for a total entry of $40 per animal.
      • Entry form is not to be faxed or emailed to Gordon County 4-H; payment must accompany entry.
      • Entry fees are non-refundable.
