Use your creativity and imagination to create a scarecrow and possibly take home some cash! Gordon County 4-H in conjunction with Northwest Georgia Regional Fair is conducting a Scarecrow Contest. Scarecrows are to be assembled at the fair grounds on September 4, 2019 between 3:00 and 7:00 pm The scarecrows will remain displayed during fair week. They are to be picked up on September 15, 2019 between 1:00 and 2:00 pm Cash prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place = $100; 2nd place = $75; 3rd place = $50; and 4th place = $25! Submit your name and a contact number to Gordon County Extension/4-H no later than August 29, 2019 to enter. Good Luck!!
