The 4-H archery team is open to youth in 4th-12th grade who live or go to school in Gordon County. Practices will be on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30 throughout the fall, winter, and spring with indoor competition on January 22 and state outdoor competition on April 29-30. Fees for both indoor and outdoor archery seasons together are $85, and if you need to rent a bow, the rental fee is $50 for the season. Hunter education certification is required for all those in 7th-12th grade.
Our 4-H archery team will begin this Monday evening, October 18, at 6 p.m. with our archery team safety meeting and a much more detailed season overview. The safety meeting is mandatory for the 4-H’er interested in participating and at least one parent. You must RSVP for the meeting by Monday at noon.
