A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

We have had a few openings for 4-H summer camp come available, so if you are interested in registering your 4th-6th grade student for camp the week of July 6-9, please do so at this link.

As a note, a few of the COVID restrictions included in the registration form are no longer applicable as policies have changed. These changes include:

  • Transportation – we have secured transportation for a school bus so we will be able to provide transportation for all of our campers to and from Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton; there will be no need for parents to transport their children to camp; you will drop off and pick up your child at our 4-H office
  • COVID-19 Negative Test – this requirement is NOT included in the Governor’s Executive Order regarding summer camps, so unless something changes, youth will NOT be required to have a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending camp
  • COVID-19 Testing Permission – though youth will not be required to have a negative test prior to attending camp, parents will be required to sign a COVID-19 Testing Permission form so that if their child exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 while at camp, they can have a rapid test completed (nasal swab, not a “brain swab”)
  • Masking – fully vaccinated individuals can participate without wearing a mask. Unvaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering while inside buildings and facilities. In those cases, campers should plan to bring several of their own face masks to camp and keep up with them throughout the week.

If you have questions prior to registering for camp, please feel free to email Mrs. Allie at allie.griner@uga.edu.
