This conference is a first-of-its-kind, multi-state 4-H conference created to bring together 4-H teens and adults to empower & inspire them to make a positive change across the southern region through youth-adult partnerships. Georgia 4-H participates as one of several host states for SRTLC each year. This opportunity is open to 4-H’ers in 9-12th grades and will take place on Thursday, September 19-Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Crossville, Tennessee. The cost to attend the Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference is $360. This fee includes lodging, meals (once in Crossville), a t-shirt, and charter bus transportation from Rock Eagle to Crossville and back. Charter buses will depart from Rock Eagle 4-H Center at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, with multiple stops along the route and return to Rock Eagle 4-H Center at 4:30 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Participants need to bring money for snacks and meals for the travel to and from this conference. Georgia has a limited number of spaces so this event is first come, first served. There will be a waiting list once capacity is reached. Event Registration will close on Friday, August 23, 2024. Please click this link to email Mrs. Allie to register. Registration will not be complete until payment and required forms has been received by the 4-H office.
