Queen Mary University of London PhD student Raphaella Jackson will share her research – using computing coding skills to learn about the bacteria that live inside insects’ bodies.

Join Mr. Kevin Carroll, the co-inventor of the world’s first prosthetic dolphin tale, featured in the 2011 movie Dolphin Tale. After hearing about a dolphin Winter whose tail was lost in a crab trap, Mr. Carroll worked with a colleague to create a prosthetic tail, allowing Winter to swim again. Special thanks to Paulding County 4-H’ers Nicholas and Juliette McKinley for this connection.
