A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

Our 4-H’ers got to have fun with pumpkins this year, both through a growing contest where they grew pumpkins from seeds over the summer through the end of October, and our Cloverbuds (K-3rd grade) students who created a variety of decorated pumpkins.

Our Cloverbuds pumpkin decorating contest winner was George Whitfield, with his cow pumpkin.

And Matthew Worley was our county’s pumpkin growing contest champion, with his pumpkin he tended all summer and grew to almost 32 pounds!
