From computer graphic design to making a pizza, Georgia National Fair has a contest for 4-H Youth! There are three areas of competition: Static Exhibits, General Contests, and Food Contests.  For Static Exhibits, you create the exhibit and Gordon County 4-H will deliver it to the fair to be judged. They include Computer Graphic Design Contest, Decorated Agricultural Products Exhibit, Mini-Booth Exhibits, Recycling, and Terrarium/Dish Garden Exhibit.  In the General Contest, there are Family Scarecrow Contest, Instant Camera Photography Contest, Public Speaking Contest, Cotton Boll Speech Contest, Variety Show, Family Pumpkin Decorating, and Family Seed Art Contest.  Food Contests include Omelets, Wild Game Dish, Cloverleaf Peanut Contest, Cupcake Masters Contest, Healthy Commodity Contest (squash), Homemade Ice Cream Contest and Pizza Contest.  For General and Food Contests, you must go to the Georgia National Fair to compete and transportation is on your own, but each 4-H’er competing and two family members over the age of 10 receive free entry into the Fair through the registration area.

Deadline is September 18, 2019.  Prize money and ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 10th place in all contest.
