Get excited for this great opportunity to go on an Animal Science/ Aquaculture tour around Northwest Georgia! Hosted by our Gordon County Extension Office intern Abby Connally, the tour will be on July 16th from 8:15 am – 6:30 pm and July 17th from 8:15 am – 12:30 pm. We will be going to Bickett Genetics to learn about bovine embryo transfer, UGA Cohutta fisheries, and Overlook Farms Kikos. Students will also have the opportunity to fish while at UGA Cohutta fisheries. This 1.5-day tour is open to rising 9th graders through recently graduated Seniors. The cost is only $15, which includes a t-shirt and three meals. There will also be a SHORT essay contest with cash prizes sponsored by Calhoun Farm Supply!
