The Coosa River Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a Photo Contest for 7th, 8th and 9th grade students who reside in our Conservation District, including Bartow, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Paulding, Polk, and Walker Counties.
Students may enter up to five photos that each fit into one of the following three categories: Conservation Practices, Close-up Conservation, and Conservation in Action.
This contest is a local District contest with all winning photos being sent on to compete in the national conservation photo contest. The prize for the first place District winner will be $100, second place $75, and third place $50. The top 12 photos received from within the District will be made into a 2019 conservation calendar.
