Do you enjoy talking about horses, or do you like to paint, draw, write, or photograph horses? Then you can enter the educational contests at the state horse show, even if you are not participating in the show itself or even if you don’t have a horse at all.
Entry guidelines and entry forms for the educational contests are found in the Georgia 4-H State Horse Show Rulebook on pages 22-32. The deadline to register for the contest is Friday, May 25, but the items you are entering do not have to be turned in to the Gordon County Extension/4-H Office until June 8 or you can deliver them to Perry yourself on June 11.
