Cornell University’s Civic Ecology Lab offers online professional development series related to environmental education, civic awareness, and climate education.  As someone who has personally participated in these opportunities, it is a great experience to learn research-based information about relevant environmental topics and network with colleagues from across the globe.  The workshops are open to any participant and relatively inexpensive (usually $60/course).

The Civic Ecology Lab will begin resuming courses this fall with plans to offer a new course E-STEM (Environmental-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education). Dates for fall courses will be posted sometime soon. More information (including the Lab’s research, publications, workshop registration, etc.) can be found here: https://civicecology.org/.

While we wait for the fall courses to be posted, you can follow them on Facebook to stay up-to-date about one-time learning sessions, panels, resources, etc.
