The annual meeting and professional improvement conference (AM PIC) is our way every year to receive\u00a0national recognition for our county and state work.\u00a0 The Achievement award winners were recognized this morning at their recognition breakfast for their\u00a0achievements as Ag Agents with less than ten years in Extension.\u00a0 Congratulations to\u00a0Renee Allen, Stephanie Hollifield, Clark McCallister, and Andrew Sawyer.\u00a0 Georgia’s communication winners were honored with a special lunch as well today.\u00a0 Georgia had national and regional winners this year in multiple categories.\u00a0 Congratulations to Paul Pugliese for being a national finalist for his video recording.<\/p>\n
Tuesday of the AM PIC has been\u00a0jammed packed with\u00a0presentations by\u00a0Ag Agents from all over the country sharing their programming.\u00a0 To accomdate all of the presentations to be offered, the NACAA Board\u00a0decided to shorten the General Session on Wednesday to make more time for presentations opportunities.\u00a0 Learning from other colleagues is my favorite way to glean new ideas to take home to producers.\u00a0 It is also the time I realize so many of us are doing great programming and should be here sharing the good work with others.\u00a0 Kudos to Tim Daley, Brenda Jackson, Amanda Tedrow, Tucker Price, Laura Griffeth, Renee Allen, Carole Knight, and Paula Burke who\u00a0are presenting at this years conference.<\/p>\n
